Following are links to web sites developed and/or maintained by members of Evangelical Ministries to New Religions. While we believe them to be beneficial and excellent sources for information, the fact that they are listed here is not meant to construe, infer nor affirm that either EMNR or its member organizations agree with and/or endorse all information, views and/or positions contained therein.

 Apologia

Apologia is dedicated to the proclamation and defense of the gospel of Jesus Christ - to "contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints" (Jude 3). Apologia's mission is primarily educational, to equip the body of Christ for spiritual discernment. An important means of accomplishing this is the Apologia Report, a weekly online research journal, which summarizes and reviews hundreds of magazines, journals, and news publications to identify the most valuable resources to aid Christians as they encounter competing truth claims and seek to wisely respond. Apologia also provides an important forum through its AR-talk, a free-access, moderated Internet e-mail discussion of apologetics resources, particularly those covered in Apologia Report.

Apologetics Resource Center

The Apologetics Resource Center is a mission whose purpose is to reach the minds and hearts of people with the message and truth claims of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Its mission is also to equip Christians with a culturally relevant apologetic, enabling them to have a deeper level of personal faith, contend for that faith, and to enter arenas of resistance and reclaim ground lost to skepticism, secularism, and other alien philosophies.

Dr. James Bjornstad

This is Dr. James Bjornstad's personal webpage. It contains information "Fact Sheets" and articles on various cults and new religious movements. RealAudio Of Dr. Bjornstad's lectures and presentations on the cults and apologetics.

 Christian Perspectives International

CPI desires to equip members of the body of Christ, through the ministry of apologetics (the defense of Christian truth) to know what they believe, why they believe it, and how to defend against attacks on Christianity from the cults, the occult, and other non-Christian world views. Their site includes a broad range of apologetics interests, including culture, law, science, cultism, philosophy, theology, and biblical studies. It contains various apologetics articles and books written by the President of CPI, Dr. H. Wayne House. These are available for download and view with Acrobat Reader. It also has a listing of tapes that may be purchased. Plans are to include audio clips for online listening, as well.

Families Against Cults of Indiana

FAC is lead by Dan and Augusta Harting. It was established to serve as "Watchmen on the Wall" by continually warning the Church against cult teachings. They also seek to strengthen the Church by training the Body of Christ to share Jesus Christ to those lost in the cults. Another important aspect of their ministry is to counsel those who are leaving the cults, and various non-Christian religions, as well as minister to relatives of those who are still trapped in various cults and to serve as "A BRIDGE" for Ex-Cultists into sound Christian churches in this area.

Fourwinds Christian Athletics: Sportswatch 

4 Winds Christian Athletics is an evangelistic and teaching ministry involved in sports. 4 Winds began in the fall of 1988 by Steve and Liz McConkey. The ministry was involved in track and field until the summer of 1999 before expanding into all sports.

Also, the ministry is active in teaching the Bible through SportsWatch, a ministry of 4 Winds. This ministry provides Christian responses to cults, false religions, and issues that are important to athletes. Articles on these subjects can be received free from the ministry by request or by downloading them free from the web site.

 Inner-City Christian Discernment Ministry (ICCDM)

Rev. Robert & Tracy Liichow are founders of this ministry. They are evangelical ministers in the Detroit, Michigan area. The Liichow's have an extensive background regarding the charismatic renewal. Together they have over 30 years of personal experience with various moves of God, such as, the Word of God Community in Ann Arbor, MI, the Word of Faith movement, the Prophetic Movement, and the Apostolic Movement, and Spiritual Warfare {a sub-movement}. Both of the Liichow's attended Robert Tilton's Bible School and have held positions in Rhema churches.

Interfaith Witness Dept. - North American Mission Board

The North American Mission Board exists to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, start New Testament congregations, minister to persons in the name of Christ, and assist churches in the United States and Canada in effectively performing these functions. Part of their strategy is to reach those in World religions, the cults and new religious movements through the ministry of the Interfaith Witness Department.

Institute for Religious Research

The Institute for Religious Research is a non-denominational, non-profit foundation devoted to the study of religious claims in light of history and the Bible. IRR offers and excellent resource at their Mormons In Transition site which is intended to promote ? in a thoughtful and gracious manner ? the exclusive claims of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, as revealed in the Bible. It offers relevant, scholarly resources that examine the foundational claims of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in light of history and the Bible.

 Dr. Gordon Lewis

Dr. Lewis is a Senior Professor at Denver Seminary. This web site reflects his interests in philosophy, theology, world religions and new religions. It also contains a listing of his books along with easy ordering instructions.

 Life Assurance Ministries

Life Assurance Ministries was founded by Dale Ratzlaff to proclaim the good news of the new covenant gospel of grace in Christ and to combat the errors of legalism and false religion. If you have questions about the Sabbath, the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Ellen G. White, the old and new covenants or desire information about Sabbath in Crisis or The Cultic Doctrine of Seventh-day Adventists: An Evangelical Resource by Dale Ratzlaff, this is the site for you. This link also provides valuable assistance for pastors and teachers looking for sermons and sermon illustrations, Bible studies and other helps. There is also an extensive listing of services, links and products.

 Midwest Christian Outreach

MCO is an apologetics and counter-cult ministry based in the Chicago. Its focus is in the area of general cults and apologetics. Information on various groups, movements, and trends is provided through their Midwest Christian Outreach Journal. Past issues of the Journal can be viewed online. This site also provides a resource catalog.

Mormonism Research Ministry

Mormonism Research Ministry's mission is two-fold. 1) To educate the Body of Christ about the differences between Mormonism and Christianity, and 2) To conduct outreaches that take the Gospel directly to the LDS people. The MRM Home Page provides a vast amount of articles that addresses such topics as the Mormon Godhead, salvation, the temple, speeches and documents, Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon, reviews and rebuttals, and personal testimonies from those who have left the LDS movement. Mormonism Research Ministry has been challenging the claims of the LDS Church in a Christ-honoring way since 1979.

New England Institute of Religious Research

The New England Institute of Religious Research is committed to not only providing high quality research on contemporary non-Christian and Christian religious structures, organizations, and individuals, but also to equip the Church to deal pastorally and sensitively with those caught in these systems. This site and ministry is also seeks to minister to those caught in destructive groups, heresies ("cults"), and aberrational Christian groups in New England and the rest of the country.

Tennessee Valley Bible Students Association (TVBSA)

Founded in 1993, The Tennessee Valley Bible Students Association (TVBSA), is a ministry of discernment dedicated to the proclamation and defense of the historic Christian faith, the restoration and edification of the victims of spiritual deception and the equipping of the Body of Christ to do likewise. Their goal is to offer a balanced Christian perspective on deceptive spirituality and philosophy as it continues to challenge the Christian faith. This site addresses not only cultic deception but also those of anti-Christian philosophies (such as postmodernism, atheism, and the "new spirituality"), as well as an examination of the New Age movement. A unique feature of this site is the "STRANGE FIRES" section that will analyze and respond to the manifold errors of excess within the Pentecostal and Charismatic cultures from entirely Pentecostal perspectives. True Light Education Ministry

A Christian research, education and counseling ministry which proclaims Jesus Christ to the lost, specializing in: opposing the seduction of souls away from God?s true light and exposing false prophets. The True Light Educational Ministry (TLEM) is a Christian Ministry of evangelism directed at one of the largest, but least evangelized mission fields in America, the cults. Our goal is to educate and lead Christians in learning how to witness to those involved with the cults and occult.

 TruthQuest Institute

TQI provides research, analysis and expertise on a variety of unbiblical religions, skepticism and general apologetics. Their website offers purpose and doctrinal statements, comparative charts contrasting orthodox, biblical Christianity with unbiblical and authoritarian religions and skepticism, recommendations on recovery from authoritarian religious systems, answers to frequently asked questions, and a listing of available online TQI resources which may be purchased.

 Watchman Fellowship Online

WF Online is a comprehensive, award-winning site offering hundreds of Watchman Expositor articles and Profiles discussing cults, new religions, and related apologetics and discernment issues from an evangelical Christian perspective. The entire site is word searchable and contains several helpful indices. One popular feature is Watchman's Index of Cults and Religions, an 1,100 entry database of cults, occult organizations, New Age groups, and world religions with related terms and doctrines. Also provided is a regularly updated religious news section and a Resource Guide offering over 200 books, tapes, videos and tracts.

 Joseph B Whitchurch

This site is designed to persuasively articulate, demonstrate and defend the Christian faith unapologetically in the marketplace of ideas -especially the western university world, and to equip family, students, faculty, friends, and associates to do the same and with all the energy that God alone can supply. It includes a vast array of links and search capabilities. It also contains a section dedicated to Apologetics and Ethics.

Word For the Weary

This site is intended to answer the challenge of Mormonism from a Biblical perspective. Word For the Weary has articles dealing with a wide range of topics regarding the history and teachings of the Mormon Church, including responding to LDS objections.
