EMNR National Conference
March 13–14, 2009

The EMNR national conference for 2009 will be held at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri, on Friday, March 13, and Saturday, March 14. The conference will kick off with a plenary message on Thursday night (March 12) by Dr. Craig Evans, distingished New Testament scholar and author of several volumes on the historicity of the New Testament.

The EMNR will be held in conjunction with the Dead Sea Scroll conference being held at the same time and location. Many of the conference topics and themes will be related to manuscripts and Scripture.

Robert Bowman

Robert M. Bowman, Jr., is IRR's newly appointed Executive Director. Previously he served as Manager of Apologetics & Interfaith Evangelism for the North American Mission Board (2006-2008). For ten years Rob taught graduate courses in apologetics, biblical studies, and religion at Luther Rice University (1994-99) and Biola University (2001-2005). Rob and his wife, Cathy, have been married since 1981 and have four children, three of them still living at home.

Bill McKeever

Bill McKeever founded Mormonism Research Ministry in 1979 to inform the Body of Christ about the differences between Mormonism and Christianity. He has also made it an effort to reach out to many individuals who are members of the LDS church with the truth of God's Word. His many writings include the books, Answering Mormons' Questions; Questions to Ask Your Mormon Friend; and Mormonism 101. Bill lives in the Salt Lake City area with his wife Tamar.

Dr. H. Wayne House is Distinguished Research Professor of Biblical and Theological Studies at Faith Evangelical Seminary (Tacoma) and Adjunct Professor of Law at Trinity International University. He is the New Testament editor of the Nelson Study Bible and Nelson Illustrated Bible Commentary, and the General Editor of the Nelson Exegetical Commentary (42 vols), Israel: the Land and the People, and Charts of Bible Prophecy, among the 30 books he has authored or edited.

This year, the EMNR national conference will be free of charge and open to the public. There may be a free registration at the door, however, so we can track the number of people attending this year's conference.

Membership in EMNR is not required in order to attend. However, we do encourage Christians engaged in apologetics to New Religious Movements to consider the benefits of membership in EMNR.
