Recommended Accommodations

New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary has two types of housing available on campus for the conference: hotel-type housing at $65/night or dorm-type housing at $25/night. To establish the housing, you must call to reserve the room before the end of the day Friday, April 13. Do not call after 4:00 PM Central Daylight Time.

Hotel-Type Housing at Providence Guest House (PGH)
These rooms are $65 per night (no tax). A block of 25 rooms is available at PGH. You must mention the EMNR code to obtain one of these rooms: EMNR0418.

Ten rooms have a single king-size bed, and 15 rooms have 2 twin beds per room. They are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so call early to reserve the room. Do not wait until April to discover that no rooms are left. On April 14, any rooms which are not yet reserved will be open to other groups or purposes.

Rooms at the Providence Guest House have TV, Internet access, and some amenities (vending machine and coffee in the lobby). PGH does not have a breakfast offering.

Price Center Dorm Housing
A bed in the dormitory is $25 per person, per night (no tax). The rooms are not private, and several people will be staying in the same dormitory.

Expect several bunk beds with a bare mattress and no bedding. You must bring all your own linens, pillow, towel, etc. Rooms at the Price Center dormitories have no TV and no Internet access.

How to make reservations
To reserve a room at the PGH or a bed at the Price Center dormitory, contact Linda Jackson via email at phdirector@nobts.edu or call (504) 816-8178. You cannot reserve a room online. You will need to provide the following details: full name, address (city, state, zip code), phone number, email address, credit card or debit card number.

Food and meals during the Conference

The NOBTS cafeteria and coffee shop will be open for breakfast and lunch the morning of Friday, April 27. There are a number of fast food restaurants in the campus area: McDonalds, Waffle House, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, Raising Canes, Burger King, Popeye’s Chicken, Church’s Chicken, The Old Gentilly Spicy Kitchen, and others. For locations and ratings, see these links from Trip Advisor, and from Yelp.
